Thai monospace fonts

In a monospaced Thai font every base letter takes the same width, while the vowels and tone marks above and below take no width of their own and stack on the letter, the way a Thai typewriter printed them. That keeps columns aligned in code editors, terminals, fixed-width tables and forms.

The 5 families here all come from the Linux world. Tlwg Mono, whose Latin has typewriter serifs, and Arundina Sans Mono, which matches Bitstream Vera Sans Mono, are the practical choices for programming. Tlwg Typewriter, Tlwg Typist and Tlwg Typo imitate typewritten pages and suit screenplays, forms and anything that should look typed. All of them are looped, and each comes in regular and bold with obliques.
