Thai fonts under the DIP/SIPA licence

The DIP/SIPA Font Computer Program License covers 10 families of the national fonts, including TH Sarabun PSK, TH Krub, TH Niramit AS and TH Mali Grade 6. The licence is short and comes in Thai and English. It lets anyone use, copy, study and share the fonts free of charge, including in commercial work, and it allows changes on three conditions: tell DIP and SIPA in writing before you adapt a font, do not give the adapted font a reserved name or promote it with the owners' names, and release it under the same licence. The fonts may not be sold on their own.

Because of the notice rule, we never cut these fonts down for web previews; the previews use the original files, which is why they take longer to load. TH Sarabun New, the best known of the national fonts, uses the GPL instead.
