2 families: IBM Plex Sans Thai and its looped sibling, matched to Plex Sans.
IBM added Thai to its Plex superfamily so that products already set in IBM Plex Sans could speak Thai in the same voice. IBM Plex Sans Thai is loopless; IBM Plex Sans Thai Looped draws the same letters with traditional loops, for readers and documents that expect them. Both come in seven weights from thin to bold, matched to each other and to Plex Sans in weight, height and texture, so one page can use the loopless version for headings and the looped one for text.
Both were designed by Mike Abbink with Bold Monday, and both are published under the Open Font License with “Plex” as a Reserved Font Name. That reservation is why the previews here use IBM’s original files rather than a reduced web copy. The downloads hold the same original files with the licence text.
