Cadson Demak
28 families from the Bangkok foundry behind many of the open Thai fonts in use today.
Cadson Demak is a type foundry in Bangkok, and it is behind a large share of the open Thai fonts in use today. Its families on Google Fonts include headline favourites such as Kanit, Prompt and Mitr, text faces such as Sarabun, Anuphan and Krub, serifs such as Taviraj, Trirong and Pridi, and handwriting styles such as Mali, Itim and Sriracha.
The foundry also revised most of the national fonts under the Open Font License, usually adding weights and italics: Sarabun, K2D, Niramit, Bai Jamjuree and Chakra Petch all started life as DIP/SIPA fonts. This page lists the 28 families credited to Cadson Demak, all hosted here with the original files. Noto Sans Thai Looped, which the foundry drew for the Noto project, is listed under Google's Noto fonts.
