Thai fonts by FontUni

3 families by Sungsit Sawaiwan, all under the Open Font License.

FontUni is the name under which Thai designer Sungsit Sawaiwan publishes his fonts. Every FontUni family is released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, with source files on GitHub, so you can use, modify and redistribute them. His fonts were first shared with the f0nt.com community, where he discussed their development in its forum. This catalog hosts all three families with the original files and serves reduced web copies for previews, which the OFL allows.

Boon (2013) is a looped Thai sans with a matching Latin in five weights, from Light to Bold, each with an italic. It is the one to pick for running text. BoonTook (2014) is an ultra-heavy, low-contrast loopless display face, drawn to test how dark and dense Thai letters can get. Use it for headlines and other short, large settings. BoonJot (2015) is a casual marker-style face built from single drawn strokes with a pen shape applied. It was made entirely with free software, FontForge and Inkscape.
