TH Sarabun New

The 2010 update of TH Sarabun PSK, and the version many Thai government offices now use for official letters. Like the other national fonts it sets small for its point size, which is why Thai documents are usually set at 16 pt. Its files carry the GPL with the font exception rather than the DIP/SIPA licence.

The zip holds the original 4 font files exactly as they were published, the licence text and a README with a checksum for each file.

Licence: GNU General Public License 2.0 or later, with the font exception

Free to use, share and change. The font exception means a document or web page that embeds the font does not itself fall under the GPL. If you pass the font files on, or a changed version of them, the GPL applies to those files and the source must be available.

You may

  • Use the font in personal and commercial work.
  • Embed it in documents and web pages; the font exception keeps them outside the GPL.
  • Share and change the font files.

You may not

  • Pass the font files on without the licence and a way to get their source.
  • Release a changed font under a licence other than the GPL.
